03.07.07, 10:59 AM ET

The Kids Good Manners Company has released "The Kids Good Manners DVD," an interactive, entertaining and educational DVD that reinforces positive role models and values taught by parents, grandparents and teachers.

"The Kids Good Manners DVD" is the cornerstone of the Kids Good Manners education program. Children are taught proper manners by being presented with a series of social situations. Contestants in the DVD, and children viewing the DVD, are given options for proper behavior in a variety of social situations and awarded points for the correct answer in a game show format.

"The Kids Good Manners DVD" has done incredibly well with diverse focus groups, school districts, day care centers and with parents and grandparents," said Ira Hackner, President of The Kids Good Manners Company. Hackner founded the company to promote products that teach kids good manners and socially responsible behavior in an entertaining style.

The DVD promotes correct behavior from Conversation Skills, Table Manners, Telephone Skills, Host / Guest Skills, Thank You Notes, Introductions and Conversation Manners, Proper School Behavior and Proper Sportsmanship. The DVD will help children learn: -0- *T Acceptance Self-Respect Compassion Patience Friendliness Integrity Manners Tolerance Self-Discipline Sportsmanship Courtesy Confidence Accountability Kindness Morals Honesty *T

Further additions to "The Kids Good Manners DVD" line will include DVDs on children learning manners and proper behavior for school, public situations (restaurants, stores, churches, family events etc), and proper etiquette for participating in sporting events and team activities. Additional products will include a Kids Good Manners book, stationery that provides pre-printed thank you cards for various occasions and "Kids Good Manners" clothing that reinforce the message of manners. The "Kids Good Manners" product line will help children directly, and parents indirectly, to avoid embarrassing moments in everyday life in an engaging and entertaining way.
